Be Interactive

There have been a lot of changes in our lives with the coming of the computer age.  The technology, which increases with each passing moment, has given us personal computers, cell phones, texting, apps, wireless connections, the cloud, AI, and much, much more.  Progressing technology can be mind boggling and frustrating with the constant changes taking place.

We have also been introduced into opportunities to become interactive with this technology.  We have interactive commercials, movies, games, and apps.  There is an effort to draw us in and make us feel involved in the process.  It is an effort for us to participate and choose.

This idea of interaction is nothing new.  The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY created an interactive world.  It is a world in which He can interact with creation whether it is with nature, the weather, animals, or men.  YAHWEH desires to be a part of our lives, involved and participating.  He also wants us to be involved and participating with Him.  He walked in the Garden in the cool of the day, seeking out Adam and Eve.

“They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.  Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, ‘Where are you?’” Genesis 3:8-9

The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY appeared to people and spoke with them throughout the Old Testament. 

“Then the Lord appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, ‘I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.’” 2 Chronicles 7:12

In the New Testament JESUS came and lived among men ministering with them and to them.

“The angel answered and said to her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.’” Luke 1:35

After JESUS’ resurrection He appeared to the Apostles and many other followers, and He has continued to be with us to this day through the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT.  JESUS continues to interact in the daily lives of each born-again believer. And He desires us to interact with Him through our abiding in Him and with Him.

“In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.” John 14:20
