Let us Praise

Praising Jesus is an important part of the believer’s life.  It has become associated with singing, but it is so much more.  Praise is a life of gratitude to Jesus for what He did for mankind.  His great love for us led Him to the cross, the grave, and His awesome resurrection.  We celebrate this on Easter each year but in reality, celebrating and praise Jesus should be an everyday occurrence.  There is no one who loves us like Jesus.  Praise the LORD.

“For this I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations, and sing to Your name.  Great salvation He brings to His king, and shows steadfast love to His anointed, to David and his offspring forever.” Psalm 18:49-50

Yahweh sent His Son, Jesus, to provide salvation from His wrath against our sin and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to work it in our lives by our trust in Jesus’ death burial and resurrection.  Our faith in the work of Jesus and the Holy Spirit will lead us into the love and forgiveness of almighty God and into His presence in heaven.  Praise the LORD.

“Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling!  Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy, and I will praise You with the lyre, O God, my God.” Psalm 43:3-4

The Holy Spirit’s work is to activate our salvation through our faith and to cleanse us of all our sins.  We are saved from the penalty of sin, from the power of sin and one day from the presence of sin.  Praise the LORD.

“I will praise You with an upright heart, when I learn Your righteous rules.” Psalm 119:7

With grateful hearts we come together as the Body of Christ to praise the Lord.  He alone is worthy of our gratitude.  Praise the LORD.

“I will thank You in the great congregation; in the mighty throng I will praise You.” Psalm 35:18

We cannot limit our gratitude for the work of Jesus and the Holy Spirit to save us from the penalty of our sin to the Body of Christ.  Living daily, with gratitude to Jesus, we find ourselves in our homes talking and singing about Jesus and His awesome love for us among our family members.  Praise the LORD.

“I will tell of Your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation, I will praise You:”

Psalm 22:22

But if we are truly grateful and filled with joy over experiencing the mercy and love of Jesus then we will find ourselves praising and proclaiming Him to those around us who do not know Him nor have experienced His loving forgiveness.  Praise the LORD.

“and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy. As it is written, ‘Therefore I will praise You among the Gentiles, and sing to Your name.’” Romans 15:9

So let us faithfully PRAISE THE LORD every day, everywhere, and to everybody.

Because Jesus loves us,
